This article systematically presents the results of a contrastive linguocultural study of the oak concept in Russian, Chinese, and English linguistic worldviews. Special atten-tion is paid to the analysis of diverse symbolic meanings, metaphorical expressions, and figurative associations related to the concept based on folklore texts. The study re-veals rich cultural connotations of the investigated concept, as well as integrative and differential features of the manifestation of these cultural connotations in different languages. The research helps reflect the specifics of ethnic mentality and forms an im-portant component of linguistic world modeling.
