Professional slang in Russian-language mobile development

This article is devoted to the study of professional slang in the field of mobile development. It provides a definition of this concept and distinguishes it from slang. The article examines the specific ways of forming slang units that are characteristic of the Russian-speaking community of mobile developers. Based on practical experience, an initial dictionary of professional slang has been compiled. To verify and expand this dictionary, a survey was conducted among the specialists of the Omsk professional community of mobile development and students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at OmSTU. The purpose of the survey is to identify the most common professionalisms from the proposed dictionary and collect new terms to supplement it. The result of the work was an updated dictionary of professional slang in mobile development.
