Abstract

The article discusses the features of combining military terms into lexical-semantic groups, their classification, origin and functioning. The study aims to reveal the ability of lexical units to be in relation to specific classes of objects and concepts, forming nominative chains in the texts of artistic prose and conveying the flavor of the era. The semantic feature of military terminology is demonstrated when it is used in various contexts.
