Abstract

The main features of the Altai region, its attractions and the development of modern tourism are analyzed. Special attention is paid to natural resources, physical and geographical features of the territory. The importance of specially protected natural territories is noted. Forecasts are given for the development of the tourist area in the Altai in the future.
