Abstract

The author examines well-known incantation "Salt-water!". It is used in children’s speech as a protection against wasps, bees, hornets and bumblebees. The article examines the connections of this stable formula with traditional Slavic incantations, the variants and the features of its use, comprehension in modern genres of the internet-folklore, as a precedent text.
