Abstract

The article is devoted to games and educational games technologies in a continuing lifetime education. The idea of the continuing education today determines the educational policy of the developed countries, including that of Russia, stimulating the search for alternative ways of implementation. One of those ways being intensively developed in the world, is gamification. The article presents the concept of a new generation of games and the conditions for their technological implementation in the form of a modular multifunctional complex of educational games. This opens up profoundly new opportunities in education, endowing it with a potential to predict and answer near-future needs, making it emotionally attractive, substantially diverse, and psychologically comfortable.
