Abstract
The article explores the potential of chatbots for translating technical documentation. It examines the key requirements for technical documents, specific features of their translation, and existing solutions for automating the process. A comparative analysis of the advantages and limitations of chatbots is provided using the example of translating authentic texts from the metallurgy industry, and recommendations are offered for improving their effectiveness in translating specialized technical texts.
