Abstract
The text of the work examines the similarities and differences between the events, charactersand their habitats described in the book by Neil Gaiman "Coraline" and shown on the screenin the work of the same name by Henry Selick: their cultural, social and psychological perception. The analysis of intertextual inclusions allows us to analyze the works from a linguodis-cursive point of view. Particular attention is paid to key aspects related to the development of the main character Coraline and her parents: the problem of "fathers and children" is revealed, which is relevant in adolescence.
