Abstract


The article examines the structural and semantic features and ways of forming terms in modern English and German languages using the example of the terminological system “photography”. The bilingual variability of the ways of forming terms is studied, taking into account their morphological, semantic and syntactic features, intra-linguistic and extra-linguistic functions, as well as ways of their use.
