Abstract
In the current conditions of the crisis of the global market economy, a competency-based approach to personnel management can bring an increase in the economic effect of client-oriented projects. The article is aimed at revealing the relevance of the competency-based approach to personnel assessment, as well as the role of competencies in the selection and assessment of personnel in organizations in modern conditions. The topic of personnel management of the company is touched upon, with a competency-based approach.
