Abstract
The interpretation of 1/7 part of Qur’an, written by Bahadirshah al-Kaynawi, is the earliest monument of Turkic-speaking Muslim exegesis in the Ural-Volga region, and is also a large written text in the Turkic language. The language of this work is a complex conglomeration of Kipchak, Oghuz and Karluk elements, the use of which is motivated both by stylistic considerations and by the individual characteristics of the author’s presentation of thoughts.
