Abstract

This article examines the semantic, structural, and pragmatic functions of personal pro- nouns in contemporary poetry (late 20th – early 21st centuries). In the poetic discourse of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, the personal pronoun not only expresses grammatical categories but also becomes a dynamic organizing principle, determining the composition of the text, its deictic orientation, the author's pragmatic strategy, and the ontological status of the lyrical subject. Using contemporary Russian-language poetry, three aspects of text organization through pronouns are identified: subject-dia- logical, deictic-spatial, and metatextual. The study uses methods of discourse analysis and linguistic pragmatics. The results of the study demonstrate that the personal pronoun in contemporary poetry serves not only as a referential marker but also as a means of meaning generation, structuring the author-text-reader interaction and reflecting a departure from the principle of stable identity in postmodern and metamodern culture.
