Abstract
The present study focuses on the synthetic nature of the texts of motorsport regulations, which combine elements of legal and technical discourses, forming a unique hybrid motorsport legal and technical discourse. In the course of the work, we used methods of discursive and contextual analysis aimed at revealing the mixed nature of motorsport regulations. With the help of analytical generalization and inductive methodology, it was possible to classify the features of the original discourses, which made it possible to establish the principles of their functioning within the framework of motor- sport legal and technical discourse. The research material is based on the motorsport regulations issued by the International Automobile Federation (FIA). The article presents an analysis of the motor-sport legal and technical course on the methodology of the analysis of institutional discourseby V. I. Karasik, namely: typical participants, chronotope, goals, values, strategies, genres, precedent texts and discursive formulas of the presented preconstructs. Based on the characteristics of the preconstruct discourses, the signs of the studied discursive hybrid are determined.
