Abstract
The vocabulary of the German language is a dynamic system. One of the most productive ways to enrich the vocabulary is word formation. The productive ways of word formation include word formation, borrowing, prefixation, suffixation, each of which has its own characteristics. The purpose of this study is to consider the methods of German word formation in terms of their productivity.
