This article examines the importance of information accessibility for various audiences. The object of the research is translation into plain/easy-to-read language as a means to ensure language accessibility of the text. The subject of the research is the linguistic means used to achieve accessibility of verbal content when conveying meanings in plain/easy-to-read language. The relevance of the research is determined by need to analyze the unique aspects of interlingual translation from a standard language to plain or easy-to-read languages in nonrelated linguoculture.The research revealed that information reduction, adaptation, and source text interpretation strategies are the most prevalent approaches in Russian, German, and English. These strategies involve replacing complex syntax with simpler constructions, using common vocabulary, graphically segmenting words, arranging sentences on separate lines, employing large fonts, and avoiding abbreviations.
