Abstract


The article discusses the implementation features of the self-description substrategy in the texts of British men personal advertisements. The main tactics for the implementation of this substrategy are described, as well as the dominant ones are highlighted. It is shown what language means British men use in advertisement texts to represent personal characteristics.
