Changes in morphological parameters of rat testicles under the influence of low temperatures

Abstract
The presented work reflects the results of a morphological study of the testes of Wistar rats in normal and under conditions of exposure to low temperatures. During the experiment, the animals were cooled by applying ball syringes with ice on the body for 28 days for 3 hours daily. Morphological analysis showed the formation of the pathological structure of the testes under the influence of cold, which is expressed by a change in the shape of the seminal tubules, a narrowing of their diameter due to a decrease in the width of the layer of spermatogenic cells, the presence of spermatogonia and spermatocytes of the first order, swelling of interstitial tissue. These changes can become a violation of the functioning of the sexual gland and, subsequently, cause a weakening of the processes of spermatogenesis.
