Abstract


This article is concerned with the research of the concepts of “life” and “death” in the system of the Spanish language. A strongly marked interest in the research practice of the concepts based on numerous studies on various materials. The choice of the subject of this study is determined by the attempt to study of concepts in line with the linguistic approach. The object of the work is to identify the features of the expression of the concepts “life” and “death” in the language system and in the minds of speakers. The lexemes “life” and “death”, as well as their derivatives, are widely used to denote phenomena that are not directly related to the realities of life and death.
