Abstract

In a study of 20 partiсipants, a spectral analysis of the electroencephalogram was performed under the influence of emotiogenic video fragments. With positive and negative emotions caused by boys and girls, a decrease in the power of the alpha rhythm was observed. The experience of high-energy emotions (disgust and joy) in both sexes was characterized by desynchronization of the slow-wave and low-frequency beta activity in the temporal regions. When studying the effect of emotions, regardless of their sign, an increase in high-frequency beta activity in the frontal and temporal cortex was found in girls and boys.
