Abstract
In this article we will focus on non-personal verb forms of the French language, causing complexity in formation and use, in particular participles, gerund and absolute participle turnover. These forms are not at the core, but on the periphery of verbal forms. They combine the qualities of the personal form of the verb and of another parts of speech - an adjective or an adverb. They compactly assume the syntactical role of subordinate clauses. Semantically, non-personal verb forms express a process dependent on another process. Syntactically, they have no mood or person, but have a voice.
