Abstract

The article deals with modern research on the problem of teacher training to guide the design and research activities of students. The requirements to the research competence of the teacher formulated in the professional standard are revealed. The system of preparation of the teacher to the management of design and research activity of pupils in the course of implementation of the main professional program is presented. The study of elective courses as a key condition for the development of research competencies of students is highlighted.
