Precedent name as a means of creating a Russian picture of the world in a literary text (on the material of the novel by S. Tesson “In the Woods of Siberia”)

Abstract
This article discusses precedent names as a manifestation of intertextuality in an artistic text. They act as actualisers of background knowledge needed to describe the Russian world view in the novel by S. Tesson “In the forests of Siberia”. The precedent names used by the author are considered as meaningful units, containing a large volume of information of geographical, historical and cultural. They also represent nationally specific signs, which, refer to information that is stored in the cognitive base not only of Russians, but also of French and international cultural community. Russian precedent names play an important role in unfolding and it’s ensuring semantic unity.
