Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of heparin influence on the insulin hypoglycemic effect. On the basis of experimental data about reduction of the intensity of hypoglycemic action of insulin when administered to laboratory mice simultaneously with heparin, as well as on the basis of literature data about the opposite effect of insulin and heparin in the mobilization of intracellular calcium, we are suggesting that the interaction of these compounds is not at receptor, but intracellular level.
