Abstract
The article considers the influence of geological factors causing natural radioactivity, on the cancer prevalence in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Increasing natural radioactivity within the Bashkir meganticlinorium - tectonic structure of the central part of the Southern Urals, associated with the ancient rocks of Riphean-Vendian age. Increasing the level of natural radioactivity in combination with other environmental factors is important in the development of malignant neoplasms.
