Abstract

Along with the compression process in the Volga-Ural region are detected and the stretching process, which resulted in the formation of numerous depressions occurred, aulacogens and graben (rift) structures. In the 70s of the last century on the East European platform revealed extensive linear dislocation, known as graben-like depressions. Today, we can assume that the dislocation EEP graben caused Riphean time in the Paleozoic period, transformed in a horizontal compression thrusts forming region of linear thrust dislocations.
