The final stage of preparation for the Russian language Unified State Exam in a non-Russian school

Doklady Bashkirskogo Universiteta. 2024. Volume 9. No. 2. pp. 73-82.

Abstract

The article discusses some features of teaching the Russian language in senior (10-11) grades of a non-Russian (using the example of a Bashkir) school. Attention is drawn to the fact that at the final state exam (USE) in the Russian language for a high school course, uniform requirements are imposed on the knowledge of graduates of Russian and non-Russian schools. The ways of mastering and the degree of proficiency in Russian as a native language (by students of Russian schools) and as a non- native language (by students of non-Russian schools) are not the same. In these conditions, there is a need to increase the level of knowledge of the Russian language of students of non-Russian schools to the level of knowledge of graduates of Russian schools. This problem is solved mainly in senior (10-11) grades, at the final stage of preparation for the Unified State Exam. The article proposes one of the possible options for this methodology, the effectiveness of which has been tested in the practice of teaching the Russian language in non-Russian schools of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
