Spectral analysis of rat brain EEG under the influence of water infusion of Pulmonaria obscura herb

Abstract
The paper presents the results of the influence of water infusion of lungwort obscure on the bioelectric activity of the brain of rats of the WAG/Rij line. During the study, animals were orally administered an aqueous infusion of Pulmonaria obscura at the rate of 15 g per 200 ml of water. The data obtained showed that long-term use (for 21 days) of water infusion of the herb lungwort has a positive effect on the EEG of the brain of rats with absence epilepsy. Thus, the lungwort may have an anticonvulsant and soothing effect.
