Abstract

In this article the researches caused by the political processes happening now in regions of the Russian Federation are considered. Against the background of globalization processes of creation and destruction of federal states, increase in a role of regions, growth of national consciousness the risk of ethnopolitical conflicts in regions amplifies which is a threat to national security. The author examined a set of measures to strengthen the federal center, which allowed not only to preserve the integrity of the federal state, but also to strengthen Russia’s national security.
