Abstract

The article is devoted to the contrastive-typological analysis of the category of case in Indo-European and Turkic languages as one of the most essential categories for the formation of word combination and sentence structure. The article shows the degree of demorphologisation of case forms and the increasing role of analytical structures with prepositions/postpositions.
