Abstract
The article deals with the metaphorical expression of justification in Russian and German political discourses. The relevance of this article is determined by the fact that political discourse is a reflection of the socio-political life of the country, carries elements of its culture and values. The purpose of this article is to identify the most common sources of metaphorical images of justification in German and Russian political discourses, as well as to carry out their comparative characteristics.
