Абстракт

Статья посвящена сопоставительному анализу ценностей сферы здоровья в американской и русской лингвокультурах. Здоровье рассматривается как культурно и аксиологически обусловленная категория, репрезентируемая в языковых и дискурсивных практиках. На основе лингвокультурного и дискурсивного анализа выявляются ценностные доминанты, определяющие модели осмысления здоровья и болезни, стратегии поведения и типы медицинского взаимодействия. Устанавливаются различия индивидуалистических и коллективистских ценностных ориентаций, формирующих этноспецифические сценарии отношения к здоровью.

Health values in American and Russian linguocultures

Abstract

The article provides a comparative analysis of health-related values in American and Russian linguistic cultures. Health is conceptualized as an axiologically conditioned category embedded in language and discourse practices. Drawing on linguacultural and discourse-based approaches, the study identifies dominant values shaping perceptions of health and illness, behavioral patterns, and models of medical interaction. The findings reveal differences between individualistic and collectivist value orientations that underlie nationally specific health-related interpretative frameworks.
