Abstract

The article discusses the issues of determining the categorical status of negative pronouns, as well as their interrelationships with other lexical and grammatical categories within this part of speech. The tables demonstrate quantitative differences of negative pronouns both in different languages and within the same language by different authors. Interesting observations are presented on the grammatical characteristics of this class of words. In conclusion, the article describes the role of negative pronouns in the composition of phraseological units and proverbial structures.
