Abstract

The interdiscursive factors of decoding the emotive content of a speech unit are considered on the material of a fragment of communication in a closed chat, where the results of decoding were objectified in the discussion. Predicting the results of decoding the semantic structure of a unit on the basis of knowledge about the connotations that are relevant for modern speakers related to particular linguistic culture seems to be more effective from the point of view of linguopragmatics.
