Abstract

This article deals with the significance of sign language interpretation, strategies of sign language interpretation in cinematography and television, peculiarities of strategies and their special influence on the perception of viewers with hearing impairment. At the same time the difficulties faced by sign language interpreters in cinema and television are analyzed, and the most effective sign language interpreting strategies for cinema and television are identified.
