Abstract

Metaphors with the target domain “life” and the source domain “home party” are studied from synergetic positions. The research is based on T. Pratchett’s literary discourse. Synergetic approach in science as well as fractal theory allow us to look at any complex object as a nonlinear self-organizing system and shed light on the complex processes in the structure of the language.
