Abstract

Article on the philosophy of history. The author explores the question of the prospects for the development of modern civilization, which is at the stage of globalization. The author seeks to find out what awaits the modern civilization, emerging from various ethnic groups, in the future perspective. To do this, the author relies on the ideas and conclusions of L. N. Gumilev as one of the outstanding contemporary researchers in the field of history, geography and ethnography. His ideas LN Gumilev explores in the interdisciplinary approach. In addition to the term “ethnos”, the key term for the author is the term “passionary personality”. The author seeks to find out what happens to passionaries in the period of globalization, how the events affect the development of culture, as well as the general development of ethnic groups. The author examines the question of a single global superethnos generated by globalization, as well as by scientific and technological and information-computer revolutions. As the main factor in the development of ethnoses, the author takes on a unique character of the landscape with which the economic activities of the ethnos are historically linked.
