Abstract

The research activities of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC) in recent years (since the creation of the Customs Union in 2010). Economic-geographical analysis yielded the intermediate results of formation and development of the integration association. Declining the third consecutive year, the volume of mutual trade lead to the conclusion that so far failed to achieve their goals. Perhaps the reasons for the decrease are not internal factors of economic union, and external economic (continuing economic crisis) and geopolitical (the economic sanctions imposed by some countries in relation to Russia - the main driving force of the EAEC).
